Wonderware MBTCP DAServer is an industrial communications server that connects Wonderware/AVEVA HMI and SCADA applications to PLCs, RTUs, drives, and other devices using the Modbus TCP protocol over Ethernet. Operating as a Modbus TCP master, it enables reliable reading and writing of coils, discrete inputs, holding registers, and input registers. The server integrates with System Platform and InTouch through standard interfaces such as OPC DA and Wonderware SuiteLink, and it is configured and managed via the Wonderware System Management Console. Typical capabilities include multi-device connectivity, parameterized item addressing, efficient block transfers, data scaling and type conversion, detailed diagnostics and logging, and health/status monitoring—helping standardize and streamline plant-floor communications.
